Female Technician Killed in Lancaster

An arrest was made in connection to the death of a female technician who was found dead in the home of a customer.

The suspect, William Hughes, originally told authorities he found Lyndi Fisher dead in the garage of his home.

He says he left his home briefly and when he came she was unresponsive on the floor, apparently injured while repairing an appliance Friday night.

Authorities say she suffered blunt force trauma to her upper body and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The sister of Fisher's boss Christy Savoie-Knop, Carol, was the one who looked into Fisher's whereabouts when she didn't respond to calls.

Later Carol used GPS tracking to find Fisher and went to check on her.

There she saw Hughes look at Fisher's work van and walked inside his home.

"If Lyndi had any indication she would have said something and we would have sent two male technicians back to finish the job. This is, by no means, anything that Lyndi did. This was a random act of violence."

Sheriff's Deputy Kimberly Alexander says detectives arrested Hughes at his home yesterday.

Christy has started a GoFundMe page for Fisher who was a wife and and mother of three children.
