Update: Amber Alert Issued for 1-Year-Old Boy Deactivated

Update:

The AMBER Alert that was issued earlier this morning for a 1-year-old abducted out of Monterey Co. has been deactivated. The child was safely located.

The California Highway Patrol has issued an Amber Alert for a missing 1-year-old boy. 

Police say Emiliano Salinas was taken from the city of Soledad, located in Monterey County around 4:45 a.m. Monday morning. 

The boy is described as 2 feet tall, weighing 23 lbs. He has black hair and brown eyes, and last seen wearing a black and white shirt and gray pants. 

No information about the suspect who took the boy has been released at this time.

The suspect was last seen driving a 1992 white Honda Accord with California license plate number 6RGB061. 

The child was last seen in a car seat in the backseat of the vehicle.
