Disney Has New Passes and New Lands

Disney is making a lot of changes for its parks and attractions!

First up, the ability to get your Fastpass for rides on your smartphone will go live July 19th.

Maxpass will cost users $10 a day to add it to their smartphone the day of their visit to Disneyland.

Annual Passholders can add Maxpass to their annual ticket for $75 a year and will be automatically included for those with the Signature Plus annual pass.

The Maxpass allows visitors to use the Disneyland app to get a digital Fastpass but won't be able to book their reservations in advance just on the day of.

Another major Disney moment came during the D23 Expo in Anaheim.

The large-scale model of the two Star Wars themed lands coming to Walt Disney World and Disneyland were unveiled during a special reception.

The model shows off two attractions that will be the main parts of what will be the largest single-themed land expansion for both parks.

One ride will give guests the chance to pilot the Millennium Falcon on a secret mission and the other ride will put people in the middle of a fight between the First order and the Resistance.

D23 also features artwork and other models on display, providing fans a chance to see the locations of the rides and other offerings in the new attractions.
