A New Jersey couple who has had to deal with several life changes got a change in luck that is well deserved.
Jackie and Rande won the Mega Millions $1 million second-tier prize when their ticket matched all five of the white balls drawn.
The change of luck came to the couple after they lost their daughter to Lupus and had to take on their three young grandchildren to raise.
A close friend says the two are the most deserving people in Jersey.
"They have helped so many other people in their times of need, and now it is their turn to receive this very necessary blessing."
Jackie says they will use the money to pay off immediate bills first and the rest will go towards their grandkids.
"This will be the beginning of good fortune to our family."
