One woman went above and beyond to thank firefighters for their efforts to keep their community safe by covering their $400 Denny's restaurant bill.
A crew of hungry firefighters who had just finished battling the La Cadena Fire in La Loma Hills on Saturday discovered that an anonymous woman had covered their $355.22 bill on Saturday night for their dinner. Including tip, the woman paid a total of $405.22.
While the firefighters were eating dinner, the woman told restaurant staff that she wanted to treat the 25 firefighters to dinner as thanks for their hard work.
The city of Colton Fire's Facebook page posted the receipt along with photos of the fire to thank the anonymous woman for her generous show of support.
After all of the firefighters finished fighting the La Cadena Fire in La Loma Hills this evening, they were sent to Denny's for dinner. While eating, an anonymous woman told the Denny's staff that she wanted to buy all of the firefighter's meals; there were about 25 firefighters in the restaurant at that time. This woman paid for the meal of all of the firefighters at Denny's at that time, plus tip for a total of $405; she also paid $100 for dessert for all of the crews.

The anonymous woman also purchased a $100 gift card and told the restaurant's employees to spend it on dessert for the next group of firefighters who happen to come in.
