San Bernardino County sheriff's deputies say they've arrested a mother that allegedly left her four toddlers in a parked car during a heat wave that saw triple-digit temperatures.
Authorities say sheriff's deputies responded to a call in inland Victorville around midday on Wednesday, and discovered three girls and a boy trapped in a hot car. Temperatures in the area topped 100 degrees on Wednesday.
The kids, ranging in age between 1 and 3, were inside the car for about 30 minutes with the engine off and windows rolled up investigators believe. The 28-year-old mother was arrested on suspicion of child cruelty.
Paramedics examined the children and then released them to the custody of a family member.
