Another bizarre tweet from President Trump, this time it's an edited clip of the time "he" put the beat down on CNN in a wrestling match.
The clip was made from a doctored video originally created and shared on Reddit with CNN superimposed on Trump's opponent.
Many are blasting the tweet, saying the post is not befitting the office of the president of the United States and advocates physical violence against CNN journalists.
Homeland security adviser Tom Bossert, defended the president saying that he was speaking directly with Americans in a "genuine" way.
“I think that no one would perceive that as a threat. I hope they don’t.”
Democrats are saying that this behavior is unnecessary and uncouth.
CNN hit back, saying Trump's behavior was "juvenile" and "far below the dignity of his office”.
“It is a sad day when the President of the United States encourages violence against reporters… We will keep doing our jobs. He should start doing his.”
