A Florida man accidentally shot himself in the penis when he sat on a loaded gun in the driver's seat of his car.
Thirty-eight year old Cedrick Jelks was driven by Shanekia Roberts who told officers he was sitting in his car by himself when the shot rang out.
She says he came to her in a panic and ran straight to their bathroom.
She followed him in and saw that he had a gunshot wound to his crotch and took him to the hospital where he underwent surgery.
From there, things took a more interesting turn when investigators arrived to the hospital and it was discovered that Jelks was convicted of cocaine possession in 2004.
With that former conviction under his belt, it's possible he will be facing charges for possessing a fire arm.....talk about adding insult to injury.
