Riverside is Paying for Rewards for Firework Tips

Calling into report illegal fireworks in Riverside could make you $1,000 richer.

The city says they are offering incentives to encourage residents to let officials know when they see or hear fireworks in their neighborhoods.

Any and all forms of fireworks were made illegal in Riverside and the city is improving efforts to avoid injuries, fires and loud noises that scare off pets.

People who are caught red handed will face fines and those who do send in tips to the city's 311 line may be asked to testify in court.
