It's about to get a bit more expensive to take the toll lanes on the 91 freeway. The Riverside County Transportation Commission says a 2% "cost of living" increase is due to kick in on July 1st.
A spokesperson for the Commission says changes to the rates are done periodically to help create a better flow of traffic.
The price hike coming in July is in addition to previous price raises introduced a few months ago.
During the heaviest commute times, drivers heading out from Orange County are already paying over $20 to use the lanes.
