CA Man Lives the Dream and Visits Disneyland 2,000 Days in a Row

A Huntington Beach resident has marked an epic milestone as he made his way to Disneyland....for the 2,000th time!

Jeff Reitz, a Disneyland resort annual pass-holder, began his Disney journey on New Years Day in 2012.

Reitz, a Air Force veteran, says he was unemployed when he started and was looking to raise his spirits.

He wanted to end the daily visits after going for a year, but wanted to keep the streak going.

"It's become a living, breathing thing along the way."

Now a days, Reitz is employed at the VA Long Beach Healthcare System he goes to the park at night.

He's ridden many of the attractions several times and loves them all.

“There’s nothing I would turn away from, I’m looking forward to checking out the new dance show for kids at Disney Junior in Disney California Adventure.”

Reitz says he has a specific routine for his daily visits:

  • He parks in the Mickey & Friends parking structure and has kept every parking ticket from every day.
  • He always enters Disneyland first, before going across the way to visit Disney California Adventure.
  • He posts several photos daily through social media too.

Reitz also says he plans on continuing his streak and his current pass is good until January 2018.
