Los Angeles woman takes three kids, may be concealing them in Tijuana

A Los Angeles mother has taken her three children from her ex-husbands house without permission, and Los Angeles police say she may be concealing them across the border.

Crystal Juarez took the children on Thursday night, according to a news release from the police. It is believed she may be concealing them in Tijuana, Mexico, where she has family connections.

Police say the father has full custody of the children. Juarez has authorized visitation rights only on the weekend.

The three children taken were two girls ages 6 and 7 named Lily and Ruby Vargas, as well as a 10-year-old boy named Gabriel Vargas.

Police are seeking the public's assistance in locating the missing children and their mother, noting that Juarez is 28 years old, 5-foot-6 and 180 pounds, and has a tattoo on the back of her neck that reads "Humphrey Park."
