Multiple people shot at San Francisco UPS facility

Multiple people have been shot after a shooting at a UPS facility in San Francisco's Mission District according to police. The shooting reportedly took place in the area of 17th Street and San Bruno in San Francisco. 

Reports indicate that a UPS driver allegedly opened fire around 9 am on the third floor of the UPS building located at 17th and Vermont Street. There are unconfirmed reports of at least seven people having been shot. At least two people are dead, three others are said to be receiving medical treatment. 

Police say the gunman has been shot, but his condition and that of the victims is still unclear. 

UPS issued a statement saying they couldn't provide any information about the identities of those employees who were hurt at the facility, pending the police investigation. 

The company is saddened and deeply concerned about affected employees, family members and the community we share.    Our thoughts and prayers are with all those touched by this incident.  To assist our employees during this time, UPS has made professional counseling available. 

UPS adds the facility is a packing sortage hub and delivery center, and that 850 people are employed there.
