Beer Run Gone Bad: Three Men Steal Liquor From Culver City BevMo

Talk about a beer run getting out of hand. Culver City police say three men stole liquor from a BevMo, and then led police on a high-speed chase to South LA.

The shenannigans began around midnight on Monday after cops responded to an alarm at the BevMo on  South Sepulveda Blvd., according to Culver City police Lt. Leon Lopez. There, they found broken windows and three guys who drove off in a van.

Police pursued the suspects in a chase that got up to speeds of 100 mph around Culver City and Los Angeles. The suspects eventually bailed out of their van around 10th Avenue and Jefferson Boulevard in Los Angeles.

One man was quickly grabbed, while another was found hiding on a roof thanks to a Los Angeles Police Department helicopter officer.

A third was found hiding near the getaway van.

The three were arrested on suspicion of burglary according to Lopez. The liquor was recovered.
