Los Angeles has revealed a new set of proposals on how and where marijuana shops can operate within city limits.
The draft includes restrictions where stores that sell pot to customers on site can operate, limiting them to work in commercial and industrial zones.
Stores will also be barred from operating withing 800 feet of each other.
Other marijuana business like indoor growing facilities wouldn't be able to operate in most industrial zones.
Other rules prohibit the consumption of the products on site and would require security and video surveillance.
