Fullerton police say they've arrested a man who was under investigation for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old girl.
A two-month investigation into the sexual relationship began after Fullerton Police detectives learned that Vincent John Conti may have been soliciting a sexual relationship on a popular social media site. A thorough investigation turned up enough evidence for detectives to arrest Conti.
Police surreptitiously arranged a meeting between Conti and the 13-year-old on Saturday. When Conti arrived to meet the victim, he was confronted by police and fled on foot, but he didn't get too far.
After a short foot pursuit, Conti was arrested by Fullerton police.
Detectives say there may be more underage victims that have had a sexual relationship with Conti are are encouraging them to come forward.
