If you're heading for any of Orange County's beautiful beaches for the final day of your three-day-weekend, you'll want to take extra care while you're out in the water. O.C. beaches are still under a shark advisory after another shark sighting near the San Clemente Pier on Sunday.

Lifeguards say a sheriff's deputy patrolling the area spotted the shark, which prompted the closure of the beach for several hours.

As many as a dozen 12-foot great white sharks have been spotted swimming in the area lately which has had lifeguards and swimmers on edge.

Last month, a shark attacked a woman at a popular surf spot just north of the San Onofre surf beach. The woman, who was wearing swim fins, was wading in the water when she was bit on her 'glute and down her thigh' according to a GoFundMe page set up for the victim.

Officials say people getting in the water today are doing so at their own risk.
