Detectives collect new evidence during search in missing Aramazd Andressian Jr. case

Detectives have searched a Montebello woman's home as part of an ongoing investigation into the disappearance of a 5-year-old South Pasadena boy who has been missing for more than a month. 

According to a statement from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, the search began around 9 a.m. in the 500 block of Via Val Verde. Detectives seized "items of evidence" at the residence of Aramazd Andressian Sr.'s mother.

The father of the missing boy, Andressian Sr. recently moved in with his mother in Montebello. 

Detectives have not offered specific details about the evidence that was collected. 

Aramazd Andressian Jr. has been missing for just over a month ever since his father was found unconscious in a South Pasadena park with no idea where his son went. 

Andressian Jr. was last seen with his father and his father's mother at Disneyland on April 20th. Andressian Sr.'s estranged wife contacted police and reported their son missing on April 22nd after the father failed to drop off the boy at a previously agreed upon location. 

Andressian Sr. was later discovered at South Pasadena's Arroyo Park, with his BMW doused in gasoline.
