Miami 'Joker' bonds out, had been arrested for pointing gun at cars

29-year-old Lawrence Sullivan was arrested Tuesday in Miami, after police got reports of a man with green hair and face tattoos pointing a gun at passing cars.

An officer questioned Sullivan during a pat-down and found a Smith & Wesson .380 in one of his pockets.

Sullivan was charged with carrying a concealed weapon. He told CBS Miami:

“If I was waving a gun, yeah, I will admit it. I was not waving a gun. Did I have a gun in my pocket? Yes and I want to be safe."

The "Joker" bonded out, and said he just wanted to go home and relax before his next court date. Inside jail, he says he was treated very well:

“I was treated like a celebrity inside. I was on the psych floor cause I take medications.”

Sullivan has the word "Joker" scrawled on the right side of his forehead, and on the left side of his forehead is the Batman logo with the words "F**k Batman."

The comic book villain's signature "HA HA HA" is tattooed below his right eye, and he's got "666" and an upside down cross just in front of his right ear.

His mother Monica Sullivan said:

“He’s a very good-hearted person. He doesn’t look for any problems. They misjudged him by the way he looks. It’s not right.”

Sorry, but he was pointing a gun at cars. And when a guy has tattoos all over his face, you have to judge him on his looks.

His mom, who has multiple sclerosis, said he helps her at home, and he helps homeless people in the area.
