An 18-year-old man was jailed on Tuesday after allegedly attacking his mother with a bat according to a report from ABC7. The critically injured woman was transported to a local hospital where her condition was later said to be serious.
Officers and firefighters responded to reports of an assault at the Friendly Village mobile home park in Anaheim according to a spokesperson for the police department there.
The son was later found and detained, but his name was not immediately released.
