UPDATED: Manchester police confirm 19 casualties and 50 injuries

UPDATE: Manchester police gave an update on the Ariana Grande concert incident. The spokesperson said at this time, officials are treating it as a terrorist incident based on the information they have so far. 

At around 10:33 pm officials received reports about an explosion at Manchester Center at the end of an Ariana Grande concert. 

The official confirmed that 19 people have lost their lives and around 50 people are injured and being treated at six different hospitals. 

Manchester police say they are working with national police, intelligence agencies to investigate concert explosions. 


Manchester police are responding to reports of a "serious" incident at Manchester Arena in England. They also warned people to stay away from the area. 

In a statement local police stated there are "a number of fatalities" and additional injuries. The cause of the incident is not yet known.
