Los Angeles Police say they arrested two suspects after they led police on a foot chase that prompted the evacuation of a Hollywood nightclub.
Two men allegedly kicked in the door of the victim's apartment and shot him late Thursday night just after 11pm according to LAPD Lt John Radtke. The shooting occurred in the 1500 block of Wilcox Avenue, near Sunset Boulevard according to Sgt. Mark Cohan of the Los Angeles Police Department's Hollywood Division.
The victim attempted to escape his attackers by jumping out of a window. He was later pronounced dead at a hospital according to Radtke.
Following the shooting, the suspects ran off and were later arrested near the nightclub.
A motive for the shooting has not been released by police.
