Nearly 80 officers and deputies searched Arroyo Seco Park in South Pasadena this morning as part of an investigation into the disappearance of 5-year-old Aramazd Andressian Jr. the 5-year-old South Pasadena boy who disappeared from the park on April 22nd.
The Thursday morning search was the result of a 'recent tip' that was phoned in during the investigation into the disappearance of Aramazd Jr. according to the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department. It was unclear what information was relayed to authorities in the tip.
Pasadena police were working alongside sheriff's deputies for any clues to Arazmazd Jr's disappearance. Search dogs were also being used at the park where the boy's father, Aramazd Sr., was found unconscious and unable to account for his son's whereabouts on the day he disappeared.

Aramazd Jr.'s mother, Ana Estevez begged for her son's return yesterday in a press conference with the media in which she tearfully asked for the return of her son.
“There are no words to describe how devastated and heartbroken I am,” Anna Estevez told reporters at a news conference with detectives in Downtown L.A. Wednesday.
“Be brave, honey, know that mama and a lot of people are working very hard to bring you home,” she said.
Los Angeles County doubled the reward for any information leading to the safe return of Aramazd Jr. to $20,000 on Wednesday
Aramazd Andressian Jr. was reported missing on April 22nd after he was last seen with his father at Disneyland on the night of April 20th.
