Twitter users were agog this morning after they were unable to get their morning cup of Joe from Starbucks. Some of the coffee chains' locations has seen their payment processing systems go down, with baristas unable to complete transactions.
Some locations closed, while others gave up and started giving away free coffee.
The issue is affecting locations across the U.S. and parts of Canada. Some locations are able to take cash using their registers, but their mobile payment system is down.
