Oregon man carried mother's head into grocery store, stabbed worker

Not a happy Mother's Day. Sheriff's officials in Clackamas County, Oregon say a man drenched in blood carried his mom's severed head into a grocery store on Mother's Day and stabbed an employee.

Workers at the Thriftway market in Estacada were able to stop the attack by tackling the suspect and and pinning him down until police arrived.

Police believe 36-year-old Joshua Lee Webb killed his 59-year-old mother, Tina Marie Webb, at the home they shared, and charged him with murder and attempted murder.

A distraught relative called 911 after finding Tina's body, and Sheriff's confirmed that her head was recovered at the grocery store.

The employee Webb is accused of stabbing was airlifted to a hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.
