Fullerton police arrest 6 people, seize huge cache of drugs in raid

An early morning drug raid on Friday netted 6 arrests and over 14,500 Oxycodone pills, 2,000 MDMA pills, .7 pounds of mushrooms, 1.5 pounds of cocaine, 16.5 grams of methamphetamine, 85 Xanax pills, 4 pounds of ketamine a loaded handgun, and over $65,000 in case from two homes Fullerton police announced on Friday. 

Surveillance of the purported drug houses began after an anonymous tip led police to a home in the 200 block of West Santa Fe Avenue in Fullerton. Warrants were issued for the home and another location on Orangefair Avenue on Thursday where police discovered the large cache of drugs and money that was worth around $305,000 in street value. 

A Smith & Wesson loaded handgun, a ballistic vest and $65,000 in cash were also found.

Six people were arrested in connection with Friday's drug rain including: Andrew Zea, 29, David Garcia, 27, Denis Prado, 24, Mickey Shulte, 34, German Ortega, 26, and Jocelyn Garcia, 25, according to the police.

Mickey Shulte, was reportedly already out on bail, for assault with a deadly weapon in a separate, unrelated incident at the time of his arrest on Friday. 

In a post on their Facebook Page, Fullerton police said the anonymous tip was vital to bringing the suspects in.
