Pasadena police are looking for a stolen pickup truck that contained a reserve officer's semi-automatic handgun, ammunition and other equipment. The police department says they're looking at whether or not the handgun was secured properly when it was stolen.
A ballistic helmet, vest, a duty belt and gas mask were also among the things inside the truck.
The theft occurred on Wednesday afternoon between 4:15 and 6:15 pm. The vehicle is described as a white 2000 Ford F250 crew cab pick-up truck with a matching camper shell. It has a California license plate with the number 6J54905.
