Here's something we don't need, a smart saltshaker that plays music. No, the world doesn't need that.
It's called Smalt, and it's billed as the "world's first smart centerpiece designed exclusively for your indoor/outdoor dining area."
Smalt is a bluetooth-enabled saltshaker that can stream music and set the mood with some LED lighting.
There's still no release date or information on how much Smalt will cost, but it's website promises the product to be a "conversation starter."
Hopefully this thing won't be the next craze, it most likely won't. It's entertaining, but come on this is just silly.
