A grassroots coalition led by former San Diego City Councilman and current KOGO radio host Carl DeMaio is kicking off a massive voter signature collection effort as part of a campaign to roll back the recent Car and Gas Tax hike enacted by Sacramento politicians.
Phase 1 of the campaign involves Recalling State Senator Josh Newman (D) who cast the deciding vote for the tax hikes – a move that would end the Super-Majority of the Democrats to raise taxes.
When: Using Volunteer Link below, sign up for one or more 2 ½ hour shifts on any of the following dates:
- May 11 from noon to 6pm
- May 13 from 9am to 4:30pm
- May 20/21 or June 3/4 from 10am to 4:30pm
Where: Various locations in Anaheim, Fullerton, Brea, Yorba Linda, Chino Hills, Walnut, West Covina, Stanton, Placentia, etc. We will send you information and you can help select the location you desire.
Duties: Collect signatures on petitions in front of stores working with 2-3 other campaign volunteers. It’s super easy and can even be fun. More importantly, it will make a huge impact. These signatures are crucial to our campaign to stop the car & gas tax hikes.
