Former Teacher at Catholic high school in the Valley Arrested

A 32-year-old former Mission high school teacher has been arrested for what police alleged as unlawful sex with students and authorities say they're searching for more victims. 

William Eick was a teacher at Bishop Alemany high School between 2009 and 2016 according to the Los Angeles Police Department. 

``He met his victims/students in his capacity as a teacher, and took  advantage of his position to gain their trust,'' LAPD Officer Aareon Jefferson said. ``Eick then engaged in sexual intercourse with them.''

An arrest warrant was issued for Eick alleging the former teacher had unlawful sex with a minor and oral copulation. turned himself in on Tuesday at the San Fernando courthouse according to police. 

Eick posted an undisclosed sum for bail, and was later released on the same day. 

The investigation into Eick continues according to the LAPD. 

``Detectives believe there may be additional victims of other unreported  incidents, and are asking for the public's assistance in locating them,''  Jefferson said.
