At an immigration checkpoint near Tombstone, Arizona, border agents stopped a hearse and found more than 67 pounds of marijuana stuffed inside of a casket.

During the stop, the agents talked with the driver and got a bunch of inconsistent statements. It was also a red flag to see a hearse being driven at night in that location. So, agents had a dogs check the back of the hearse.

The dogs sniffed an odor which led the agents to unload the casket which had several bricks of pot in it worth more than $33,000.

Along with the bricks were bags of manure to mask the marijuana smell.

The driver is 28-year-old male U.S. citizen, and was arrested for narcotics smuggling.

He though he was being sneaky with the hearse, but maybe it was too much of a cover. How did he not think that would look weird?
