Search continues for missing 5-year-old boy in South Pasadena

Police continue their search for a five-year-old boy whose father was found passed out in a South Pasadena park with no explanation on where his boy went.

Aramazd Andressian Sr. was arrested Saturday for child endangerment and child abduction charges after paramedics found him passed out in Arroyo Seco Park in South Pasadena. The mother of Aramazd Andressian Jr. reported that her estranged husband had failed to drop off their boy, at a pre-arranged meeting place. The parents are in the middle of a divorce and share custody of Aramazd Jr.

Authorities say the boy was last seen by his mother on Tuesday after the pair spoke over a video call. The father's statements about the whereabouts of his son have been "convoluted and contradictory" according to Los Angeles Sheriff's Capt. Chris Bergner.

Police are asking that if anyone has any information about the case to contact the LA County Sheriff's Deputies. They're also asking the public to report if they had recently spotted Andressian Sr.'s silver BMW.  It's a silver, four-door 2004 BMW with California license plate 5FIL646.

The father remains locked up on $10 million bail.
