Valencia Student Questioned Over Implied Gun Threat

A 15-year-old Valencia student is being questioned by police after she made an "implied threat" with a gun over Snapchat.

The teen allegedly sent a picture of what appears to be a gun to five of her friends.

Santa Clarita sheriff's Lieutenant Salvador Becerra says one of the friends contacted police with what they saw.

Valencia High School principal John Constanzo sent the campus community an email about the issue.

Becerra says the exact nature of the threat is being investigated and the teen in question is not under arrest.

This threat also comes a day after a Brea Olinda High School student was arrested after posting a photo of himself with a rifle online, implying he was going to shoot his classmates.
