Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti is set to deliver his State of the City Speech at City Hall today at ten am. Garcetti's speech is expected to focus on several topics including immigration, city budget, as well as traffic deaths.

Garcetti is also expected to talk about the number of homeless people growing by the day in the city. The Los Angeles City Council recently declared a 'shelter crisis' in a move that would allow the city to open more shelters.

One thing Garcetti is not expected to talk about today is his own political future. The Mayor remains coy about his future political plans, but one thing that he has repeatedly declined to do is run for Governor in 2018 when Jerry Brown's final term is up.
