Steve Stephens, the man wanted by police for the random killing of a Cleveland retiree posted on Facebook shot and killed himself after a brief pursuit according to Pennsylvania State Police.

State Police say Stephens was seen on Tuesday morning by state police in Erie County, in the upper northwest part of the state.

Authorities attempted to pull Stephens over, but he refused and after a brief pursuit, Stephens shot and killed himself.

The nationwide search for Stephens began after he posted video of him murdering a 74-year-old retired Cleveland man. Stephens posted video of the shooting on Facebook on Sunday, and claimed he had already killed a dozen people.
