All that twitter user @carterjwm wants is a retweet. 18 million of them, to be exact.
Carter Wilkerson is a big fan of Wendy’s chicken nuggets and wanted to know what it would take to get a year’s supply for free.
The fast food chain responded with an 11-digit figure and Wilkerson.
Since April 5, his tweet has 2.5 million retweets and more than six hundred thousand favorites. Major companies and figures are showing their support for Wilkerson’s nugget pursuit.
Wilkerson is even selling shirts with the hashtag “NuggsForCarter” to help support his cause. All proceeds from the shirts will be donated to charity.
The tweet has potential to break the record set by Ellen DeGeneres for most-retweeted post at the 2014 Oscars. It was retweeted 3.2 million times.
