Toledo man accused of chasing family member with hatchet

A 63-year-old man from Toledo, Ohio pleaded not guilty today to chasing a family member with a hatchet.

Dawson is charged with domestic violence, assault, criminal damaging, and failure to disclose personal information.

Last Sunday he allegedly chased a family member with a hatchet. Prosecutors say he swung the hatchet at the man but hit his truck instead, leaving a huge dent in the hood.

When Dawson was arrested, he refused to give the officer any of his information and just shouted obscenities.

His bond was set at $50,000 with no option to post 10%.

Just look at this guy! He certainly looks like he'd chase you with a hatchet.
