Jerry Brown and the democrats' answer to everything in this state is to raise taxes, and right now they're working hard to shove yet another massive tax hike down our throats.
More taxes don't help the lower and middle-class people who live in this state. The democrats have killed the California Dream.
The good weather, the beautiful terrain, does any of that really matter when our leaders have no respect for the taxpayer?
Assemblyman Vince Fong from the Bakersfield area understands the nonsense and corruption happening in the California legislature.
He's got a great Op-Ed in the OC Register called "Democratic policies keep making state unaffordable:"
"The self-imposed deadline of April 6 for a transportation funding deal is right around the corner and the only apparent solution that Sacramento has come up with is massive gas tax increases — including hikes of as much as 70 percent — that will hurt ordinary Californians. Keep in mind that California already bears the burden of having one the highest gas taxes in the entire nation, which hurts low- and middle-income families the most. In addition to gas and diesel tax increases, vehicle license fees are also set to rise by large margins.
But this is just the tip of the iceberg..."
