Girl asks potential job about wages/benefits and they cancelled the follow-up meeting

Twitter is divided about this company's response to a potential hire.

Taylor got a second interview for a job at SkipTheDishes, a food delivery service. She emailed their HR with some standard job questions about wages and benefits. The response she got was shocking.

"Your questions reveal that your priorities are not in sync with those of SkipTheDishes. At this time we will not be following through with our meeting this Thursday."

After Taylor posted screenshots of this exchange on Twitter, HR emailed her to try and clarify by saying she shouldn't be in it for the money.

After awhile one of the founders reached out to Taylor to say that the emails were not the views of the whole company and that they would love to give her a 2nd interview.

Twitter users were enraged that she was not considered a self-starter because she asked basic new-job questions.

I wonder if she took the second interview!
