Beverly Hills Dog Show will be star studded

The Kennel Club of Beverly Hills, established in 1965, will host the Beverly Hills Dog Show on Saturday March 5 and Sunday March 6 at the Fairplex in Pomona, California.

There will be separate shows for each day and some talent attending includes host of the show, John O’Hurley, and red carpet hosts, Tara Lipinski and Johnny Weir. Other important attendees will be stars from NBCUniversal Entertainment's popular television shows.

The official recording of the dog show will be aired on USA Network on April 16, 2017 from 8p.m. to 10p.m. PT/ET. Reruns will be played the following week on April 17 on USA Network and April 23 on NBC.

Last year in 2016, the ‘National Dog Show Presented by Purina’ received about 26 million views during its initial airing. The National Dog Show sets the bar for the Beverly Hills Dog Show.

A few special features on the show will depict dogs in Hollywood and Beverly Hills like ‘Working dogs in Hollywood,’ ‘Dogs in Universal Studios themed sections’ and ‘Dogs shopping on Rodeo Drive.’

The ‘Best in Show’ finalists have the honor to walk the red carpet in the “Fashion Show” finale.

Children’s Hospital Los Angeles Therapy Dog Program has partnered up with the dog show to gain awareness and support for the charity. The charity will receive $1 from every ticket sale and will go towards the program.

Tickets for the show start at $4 for children, $12 for adults and $7 for seniors (55+).
