Police are looking for witnesses after an 18-year-old man was found dead on a street in Santa Monica.
Detectives are figuring out whether there's a link between a shooting and murder in Santa Monica. Santa Monica police Lt. Saul Rodriguez says Juan Castillo was found shot yesterday was found shot yesterday. Five hours earlier cops got a call about a shooting.
He says investigators there didn't find any victims or shooters. Castillo was a graduate of Santa Monica High. His dad says his son had planned to join the Marines.
Community members and friends of the Castillo family have started a GoFundMe page to help the Castillo’s during this rough time.
