At a New York Fashion Week show, Tiffany Trump was targeted by Elle magazine editors who refused to sit next to her and posted about their decision to not sit by her.
These actions prompted Whoopi Goldberg to bring it up on The View to say that she thought it was wrong to do something so mean. That Tiffany was simply there to watch fashion and not to talk or represent her father. Whoopi announced that she was going to some shows later on in NYFW and she said,
"You know what, Tiffany, I'm supposed to go to a couple more shows. I don't know what's going to happen, but I'm coming to sit with you because nobody's talking politics. You're looking at fashion. She doesn't want to talk about her dad. She's looking at the fashion."
Whoopi is extremely vocal about her dislike of President Trump but she has defended Barron and now Tiffany when people target them because of who their father is. Tiffany responded to Whoopi's offer on Twitter and thanked her.
