State Senator wants to extend last call to 4:00 am

State Senator Scott Wiener from San Francisco introduced legislation yesterday that seeks to extend last call for alcohol from 2:00 am to 4:00 am in parts of California.

Wiener announced the bill on Facebook:

"Nightlife matters a lot, culturally and economically, and it’s time to allow local communities more flexibility."

If the bill goes through, it would be the first change to California's last call since 1935, when the 2:00 am last call was established.

A similar bill failed in 2013.  Wiener took campaign contributions from strip clubs last yearand he's very proud of the fact that San Francisco is a Sanctuary City.  Just look at this guy, it's all you need to know about him:

That video is pinned to the top of his Facebook page.  He's so proud of himself, he's displayed it on the refrigerator for all to see!

Scott Wiener, ladies and gentlemen.

What a...well, wiener!
