Jeremy Meeks' mug shot went viral in 2014 when he went to prison for felony weapons charges for being a felon in possession of a .45 caliber pistol.
Meeks told KXTV that he was a member of a gang and that the gun was in the trunk of his car when he was arrested. His mother argued that the gang-related charges were due to stereotypes.
He also served a nine-year sentence for a felony grand theft conviction from 2002.
After getting out last March, Meeks' is pursuing a modeling career and is actually doing well from the looks of it. He lives in a mansion and drives a $150,000 Maserati- wonder if he’s still packing in the trunk?
Meeks' made his New York Fashion Week debut at the famously outrageous Phillip Plein show.
The 33-year-old incarcerate/ model told ABC News that he never “thought that everyone in the world would recognize me for my looks.”
