South Bay Transgender woman gets prison for sex acts with teen boys

25-year-old transgender woman Jane Maria Nicholson was sentenced to jail for more than 5 years on Wednesday.

She was busted for engaging in sex acts with teenage boys, one of them 13-years-old, who she propositioned on the streets of north Torrance.

The boys told police that they didn't know Nicholson was biologically male until they were later contacted by detectives conducting a child molestation investigation.

The four victims are:

  • A 17-year-old from Los Angeles
  • A 16-year-old from Redondo Beach
  • A 13-year-old from Redondo Beach
  • A 13-year-old from Gardena

Nicholson performed oral sex on one of the younger boys, and had anal sex with the 16-year-old behind a building.

The two other boys were propositioned.

Nicholson served on the board of the South Bay LGBT Center, but the center's president said she's no longer affiliated with the organization.

They declined further comment.

Jane Maria Nicholson must register as a sex offender when she's released on parole, and she's prohibited from contacting any of the four boys.
