A new poll shows that the majority of Europeans would support a Trump-like travel ban from predominately Muslim countries.
London based think tank Chatham House surveyed 10,000 people across 10 European countries and found that 55% would support a ban.
Europe has seen horrific terror attacks in recent years, and it only makes sense that the people want to get their borders under control.
Majorities in all but two of the ten countries supported the ban, including:
- Poland at 71%
- Germany at 53%
- United Kingdom at 47%
- Spain at 41%
In no country did the percentage that disagreed went past 32%. Chatham House called the results of their poll "striking and sobering."
