Men riddled with scabies arrested for sex acts on Bed Bath & Beyond display bed

Two men in New Jersey were arrested and charged for performing sex acts on each other on a display bed at a Bed Bath & Beyond during regular business hours.

The two 28-year-old men were both charged with lewdness, criminal mischief, and possession of marijuana.

One of the men was also charged with having an outstanding warrant for his arrest.

Officers discovered that the men were infected with scabies, a contagious skin infestation caused by a microscopic parasite that burrows beneath the skin.

They were treated and released, but they were put on leave for a few days to avoid contaminating the police department.

The booking station was also fumigated to prevent any spread of scabies.

It's not yet known if the men were under the influence or why they committed the crime.

Umm, they probably did it because they're crazy?

Senior manager of Bed Bath & Beyond's public relations said:

"Out of an abundance of caution, the incident-related merchandise and display was immediately pulled from the floor and discarded. We will continue to take steps to assure that our store and merchandise continues to be safe for our customers and associates. If any customer feels uncomfortable in our store for any reason, we will of course attempt to address such a situation in an appropriate manner."

All we can say is, "Nope...."
