Steve Harvey's embarrassing flub at last year's Miss Universe competition led to the wrong winner being announced. This year the real winner was there to pass on the crown and to give Harvey a hard time.
Miss Philippines/Miss Universe 2015, Pia Wurtzbach, stopped Harvey right before he announced this year's winner to hand him a pair of very thick glasses. This subtle jab at the mess-up last year was a graceful way to acknowledge the mistake and show that they were hyper-cautious of it this year.
Steve Harvey went on to correctly announce the new Miss Universe, Miss France.
