FRESNO, Calif. (AP) — A Northern California county has voted to continue its ban on growing non-medical marijuana in unincorporated areas.The Fresno Bee reports that Tulare County will extend the ban for another two years. It is aimed at commercial growers, and the county's regulations will still allow people to grow up to six plants indoors at a private residence.
California residents voted in November to decriminalize marijuana for adults 21 and over. The proposition, however, allows local jurisdictions to set their own rules — including a ban on marijuana businesses.Marijuana growers and prospective marijuana growers urged the council to reconsider the measure during a public comment period on Tuesday
