Former Apprentice Contestant Summer Zervos Suing Donald Trump

Gloria Allred and her client Summer Zervos announced today at a press conference that the former Apprentice contestant was suing the President-elect for defamation just four days before Trump is sworn in as the 45th president.

Zervos appeared before the media on Tuesday saying that the lawsuit was filed in New York and would 'seek to make Donald Trump accountable for the damage he has caused Ms. Zervos' who has accused the Trump of sexual assault.

Zervos is one of several women who have publicly accused Donald Trump of sexual misconduct in the run up to the 2016 election. The former Apprentice contestant says the president-elect assaulted her at a hotel in Los Angeles back in 2007. She claims that Trump allegedly invited her to visit the Beverly Hills Hotel where he was staying for a business meeting. However, after arriving at Trump's hotel room, Zervos says that Trump began kissing her aggressively, placing his hand on her breast.

Zervos says she pulled away and that "I pushed his chest to put space between us and I said 'Come on man, get real.'"

Trump responded to Zervos' accusations back in October saying that he had never met her at a hotel, or greeted her inappropriately. "This is not who I am as a person, and it is not how I've conducted my life."

The lawsuit is asking for Trump to either admit his 'sexually inappropriate behavior' or respond publicly in court.
